The notification no. SO (B&A)1-18/2022/Creation of posts issued by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary & Secondary Education Department. A notification was issued on 19th January 2022 at Peshawar and the main focus was anomalies & their removal in schools like higher secondary.
However, the Finance Department of KPK will create 10 subject specialists posts of BS-17 in each newly upgraded Higher Secondary School both male and female. Also, the creation of almost 12 SS is done in new schools. So, details of notification are discussed below;

I am directed to enclose herewith Directorate of E&SE Letter No. 5137/DD(P&D) Post Demand date 13.1.2022 on the subject cited above and to state that Finance Department created only 10 Subject Specialists (BS-17) Posts in each newly upgraded Higher Secondary Schools (M/F), while Senior Staff Association (AKSSA) requested for certain of 12 Subject Specialists BS-17 Posts in each Higher Secondary Schools (M/F). As the total subject taught at Higher Secondary Schools are twelve or above twelve. An increase of Subject Specialist posts at higher Secondary Schools is the need of the hour
It is therefore requested to revise change the existing approved yardstick for the creation of subject specialist BS-17 posts in Higher Secondary Schools in the best interest of the public, please.

So, the post-creation of SS in newly upgraded schools is mandatory because the students admitted to these schools are facing many problems while studying.
